Memorial Service Details
We will be gathering to celebrate Ken’s life. It is a busy time of year but one of the only weekends our far-flung family could congregate. We hope many of you will be able to join us without too much inconvenience. We look forward to hearing stories and seeing pictures you may want to share.

2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Outdoor event honoring Ken Marion. Dress as you feel is appropriate for weather and comfort. But please, please wear comfortable shoes. Evening potluck to follow ceremony and scattering of ashes.

Schedule
2:00 p.m.
An informal service including musical and spoken offerings will be held. Followed by a reception.
4:00 p.m.
For those who are able and would like to can join us, we will have a meditation walk into the forest to the site where we will leave ashes.
Evening
We will have potluck meal and a bonfire behind the family home at 555 Akard Lane, Blountville, TN 37616. The state line bisects the property, so this is just next door.

The location for this gathering is at a newly built barn on the property adjacent to the family farm and Wortroot Land Trust, 1155 Akard Lane, Bristol, VA 24202. When searching this address use Bing Maps. (This comes up accurately in Bing Maps and Apple Maps, but Google Maps guides you to a neighbor's house. From the TN side, you can go to 555 Akard Lane, Blountville, TN 37617 and then continue 0.7 miles North until you see balloons marking the entrance on the left.)
