I feel so thankful that my family invested so much in connecting our extended family. I wish it had been more often, but this devastating news of Ken's passing makes me feel so grateful that I knew him. As a second cousin living several states away, he could have easily been a man that I merely saw in a few pictures. Yet I was so fortunate to know his ever-present smile, his open-heart to all living things, the way he was drawn to music, how he traveled the world and how he always invited me to his world. When I think of Ken I think of a lust for life with eyes wide open to connect with nature, culture, and others. My heart is so heavy for Janice, Roan, Parks, Minta, Tony, and Becky. I know this loss is unexplainable and while I am not there in person I am with you.
